BLACK BOTTOM TASSIES

 

 

4-1/2 C Flour

3 C Sugar

3 t Baking Soda

1-1/2 t Salt

3/2 C Cocoa

 

Mix the above and add:

 

1-1/8 C Salad Oil

3 T Vanilla

3 T Vinegar

3 C Warm Water

 

Mix and fill paper-lined tassie pans ½ full.

 

Filling:

 

12 oz Cream Cheese

1 Beaten Egg

½ C Sugar

 

Beat the above ingredients together, then stir in:

 

1        12 oz pkg Chocolate Chips

 

 Drop filling (apprx 1/2 t) into center of chocolate mixture.

 

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  Cool, then remove from tins.

 

These freeze well in air-tight containers.
