SAUCE WITH HERBS

 

 

1 lb Pasta (Penne, Rotini, or Bow Ties)

1/2 Onion

1 cup of Tomato Puree

1 teaspoon Basil

1 teaspoon Parsley

1 teaspoon Rosemary

1 teaspoon Marjoram

1 teaspoon Thyme

Salt

Olive Oil

2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan Cheese

 

While pasta is cooking in salted boiling water, saute the onion in

olive oil, then add the tomato puree and let it simmer. In a small bowl,

mix the herbs and the cheese. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Drain

pasta in a colander, and do not rinse it. Put it in a bowl, pour the

sauce over, add the herb mixture, mix well and serve.
